It's been a really crazy time the past few weeks, as if we were locked into a full moon for the entire month. The stock market is going crazy- why exactly are we topping 10,000 and oil topping $80, and why is gold around $1100? I predict gold is the next bubble to burst, actually.

The weather is going crazy- it was COLD around Oct. 20th, then we returned to record heat late in October, just in time for the hottest Halloween ever, then it cooled off a bit, then we have record heat early this week, with a HURRICANE making landfall to the northwest of us, followed by colder weather later in the week. How often does a Category 2 hurricane make it into the Gulf of Mexico on NOVEMBER 9TH?

The videogaming market is going crazy- New Super Mario Bros. Wii is going to wii- er, release next Sunday, Nov. 15, and it will be one of the few substantial releases of 2009 for the system. Were it not for Square-Enix and their Final Fantasy IV expansion, this year would almost be worthless on Wii to date.

And, of course, we still have the holidays on the way. I guess things probably won't calm down too much until the late November/early December lull between holidays.
